Erin is incredibly intelligent (not just because we share the same alma mater), thoughtful, resourceful, and independent. And she loves to entertain, especially her family. So she needed a space where she could prepare food while enjoying her company. We removed a load-bearing wall and carried the beams and planks overhead to unify the space. The massive, two-tiered island has a waterfall edge of Taj Mahal quartzite in a leathered finish. New hardwood floors and new doors down the Hall round out this project. She was such a joy to work with!
